Our Story

Established in 1969 by a small community collective, Latrobe Valley Enterprises (LVE) embarked on its journey as a ‘sheltered workshop’, a term now obsolete within the disability sector. Initially comprising of six employees living with disabilities, LVE has undergone significant growth over the years, now proudly employing over eighty individuals living with disabilities.

In response to the evolving landscape of work and changing perspectives on team dynamics, organisations are learning to adapt to meet operational objectives whilst upholding social responsibilities. LVE has embraced this transformation by amplifying opportunities and evolving into a commercially viable business.
